i love valentine's day, just because of the word love. before i met my husband, i never had anyone "special" to celebrate it with. i always remembered it as my best friend's birthday and always looked forward to going to school to share it with her. i would usually get a stuff animal or flowers for her and always thought it would be nice to be the one receiving these some day. happy birthday ash :)

this valentine's i have a husband and i'm excited to share it with him. we both have been throwing out hints of what we would like to do. we'll see on monday how that goes :) besides my husband, i've been thinking of my family especially my nieces and nephew. they are one of my favorite people to give valentine's to. im sad i forgot to take a picture of their box before i sent it home. i made flower lollipops for my nieces Keani and Kale'a (the lollipops were a little big for the flowers):

Oshen got a fish and octopus because he would not like a flower. i can't wait to do more crafts. i love decorating my home away from home. it keeps me busy and i don't feel so lonely when my husband is always gone. happy love day :)
